Nothing says update me more than 1980’s wallpaper, dirty pink carpeting and asbestos siding. Staying true to the 1920’s architecture, and using muted tones and custom wood work, Ecological Instincts transformed a tired colonial into a cozy and desirable place to live. The project included refinishing original hardwood floors, design for three stories including three baths and a kitchen, and exterior paint treatments. The craftsman details including built in shelves in the kitchen, bathrooms and library add an element of tasteful authenticity. Contractor: Maine Homeowner Solutions.
